Imabari 'Mokomoko' Square Wash Towel by HartWell
In Japan, Imabari is towel town. It boasts a history in towels, it has a museum of towels, it has more than half of the country’s production of towels, and, well, it has great towels. With such a focus on these rectangles of fabric it is no wonder that the Imbari towel mark is one of quality. A producer in the town since 1930, Hartwell is known for its excellence, its primary colours, and its innovation within the genre.
These towels are from Hartwell’s ‘Mokomoko 365’ range, which in a feat of towel engineering, are said to get softer with each wash. (Investigations under a microscope show the pile expanding over time). As such Hartwell say these are towels that can be a colourful companion, over a long period of use..
In a small wash towel size, the dimension of each is 34cm x 35cm. They are available in three colours and weigh 70g
