Tray with Lid by Yukikatsu Isobe

A practicing potter since 1966 at his family's ceramic works in Kasama, Yukikatsu Isobe is still exploring, still learning.  This tray with a lid is among the forms he has developed, and which could have a variety of applications.  While he dabbles in Japanese, Western and other table ceramics, the skill of a craftsperson is ever present in Isobe's work.
