About wholesale
These waffle style towels were made in organic cotton by the Imabari based maker Johnan Orimono. The town of Imabari in Ehime is a hub of innovation, and quality in towels. The many small and medium size businesses in the region, each plough a niche in their soft materials, and seek to engineer and create ever more satisfying towels to use.Johnan Orimono are part of this community, and have been since their founding in 1914. Alongside classic line ups they make bathrobes, towel blankets (’towel-kets’) handkerchiefs and more. These towels, which they style ‘mou cube’ are precision made in their weave, and extremely soft to touch. The waffle texture gives them a distinctive feel against the skin. These are in small size, which is square at around 39cm by 39cm. They weigh 50g.
