Fragrant Cold Brew Green Tea (Mizudashi) by Sueshige Tea

This is a pack of ten bags containing green tea from the Kirishima region.  The bags are intended for cold brewing, but can be drunk hot too. 

If brewing with cold water, they can be left in water in the fridge for two to three hours, allowing the flavour to slowly infuse.  Or, if hot,  for around 90 seconds in water slightly off the boil (70-80 degs)

The tea has a rich scent and deep umami, and the ease associated with brewing using tea bags.

The pack features pictograms of Kagoshima, including Oh no Konbo and the Sakurajima volcano.

It contains 10 teabag weighing 3g each.

About Sueshige Tea

Kirishima to the south of Satsuma, sits at the foot of the Takachiho no Mine volcano range. Here the altitude leads to a colder climate, and a distinctive Kagoshiman terroir for tea. When brewed, Kirishima teas often offer a quite thin green colour, that deceives to the level of taste. The brews are in fact fresh, sophisticated and satisfying.
