Doing exactly what it says it will do, this is a simple and effective pepper mill, from Japan’s home of simple and effective kitchenware in Tsubame-Sanjo.

Made by Sanjo based Kawasaki Jushi, this mill achieves its grind function with a ceramic porcelain blade.  It also has a lid, and hence avoids pepper detritus in the kitchen, and on the table.

The colour code is handy in critical spicing moments.  

The bottom pepper holding section is made from glass.

The mill is 4.2cm wide, and 11.9cm high.  Its empty weight is 123g, and it has a capacity of 70ml.
