Founded in 1893 in Kyoto, Suzuki Shofudo are masters in applying Japanese paper (washi) to packaging.

With their main shop a colourful presence on one of the__atmospheric streets in Kyoto's central grid, the firm is now led by the fourth generation of the Suzuki family.

The family's company has more than a century's experience in presentation using the thick quality of washi paper.

Adapting traditional patterns and motifs, their work is classic, but nevertheless sits well on contemporary forms.

This__sugar pot has a waterproof coating and is suitable to store salt, pepper, sugar or herbs. __It is sold together with a small wooden spoon housed in an attached rest.
