This wooden fork was made by Nobue Nishimura in Oketo, Hokkaido.

It was designed as a pasta fork, with slightly smaller gaps between the four prongs, to reduce the chance of slippages when twirling spaghetti.

Of course, with its 20cm length, it could function as a general fork for dinner time too.

There is a slight v-cut on the reverse of the prongs, with the detail in the overall hand made design, symbolic of the care that Nishimura puts into her work.

The forks have a clear wood finish and are made from Hokkaido sourced wood (in this case sakura cherry wood).

From a care perspective, it is not suitable for microwaves, dishwashers or abrasive sponges when washing.

Each spoon is hand made, with small variations, but are around 20cm long, and 2.8cm wide at the widest part of the fork.__
