This potato masher was made by the Tsubame based firm Sampo Sangyō.

Known for their Yukiwa brand of stainless steel kitchen, table, and serving ware - the firm explores endless niches in its work.

Made from 18/8 stainless steel and aluminium, this is a superior grade potato masher.  

It comes with two interchangeable inner hole plates, to allow different textures in the mash.

The masher has a diameter of 9cm and a height of 17.5cm (the handle is 13cm within this).  It weighs 479g.
