Suzuki Shofudo Paper Pot L

Founded in 1893 in Kyoto, Suzuki Shofudo are masters in applying Japanese paper (washi) to packaging.

With their main shop a colourful presence on one of the atmospheric streets in Kyoto's central grid, the firm is now led by the fourth generation of the Suzuki family.

The family's company has more than a century's experience in presentation using the thick quality of washi paper.

Adapting traditional patterns and motifs, their work is classic, but nevertheless sits well on contemporary forms.

This large size cylindrical box has a slight waterproof coating to it, which means it can be used in kitchens and bathrooms.

Made in Kyoto.
