About Kenichiro Inoue
Kenichiro Inoue bases his work on a dedication to vivid pattern. Boldly painted fish and flowers stand out across the surface of this hand-painted pottery. A practising potter in Kasama since 1984, Inoue’s work has lost none of its impact. If anything his patterns are becoming more bold, and match his cheerful status in the local ceramics scene. None of this is to belie to quality of his skilfully made ceramics, which have received recognition in Japan and overseas.
