Inkaren

Founded in 2012 as an alliance between six small and medium sized paper work companies in the area of Tokyo, Inkaren jointly design and make great stationary and paper accessories.

The six firms are known as leading modern exponents of the Japanese tradition in paper craft.

From traditional applications such as scrolls and wall partitions the tradition in Japanese paper works has been carried forward to manga comics, innovative packaging and stationary.

Paper work supports Japanese creativity in many functions, and is a counterpoint to modern society.  In a digital world it would be sad to lose this tactile sense, and beautiful moments of precision.

Inkaren uphold this past, and show what can be achieved in paper today.
